I have known Kirsten Dart for many years now, and I have witnessed her grow as a person and an artist. Her talents for fashion design are clearly evident, with her Domino Seven label showing great signs of being a successful clothing line. Kirsten is a kind and mature person with fantastic organisational skills. These character traits make her an excellent leader and manager.
This was confirmed when she organised the Verve Art and Culture night in November of 2006. The night was an enormous success, with young fashion designers and artists from around Brisbane showing off their work, and it was all done to raise money for a nursing mission trip to India. Kirsten brought it all together; the designers, the show, the location and the artists. It was no easy task, but Kirsten seemed to pull it off with ease, even though things wouldn't always go to plan.
I have every faith in Kirsten's label, Domino Seven, not only because her designs are unique and wearable, but because Kirsten is the type of person who can succeed in business. It is a rare thing, to have a creative talent and also a business mind.
I enjoy working with Kirsten and look forward to seeing her business flourish.
